The three stopovers
Southeastern Sicily
Accommodation Description
For this part of the trip a very special place has been chosen, Torre Marabino. It is an ancient tower dating to the 16th century, nowadays an elegant hotel and at the same time an organic farm that combines the charm and comfort of modernity with the quiet life of the country.
To see nearby
- The fascinating Baroque towns of Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli.
- Last but not least… you are very close to the coast for a dip in the sea.
Southern Sicily
Accommodation Description
For your second stopover, we chose a well-known Sicilian wine producer built on a long agricultural tradition handed down from 1500 through 17 generations in the area between Sambuca di Sicilia and Menfi (Agrigento district). Here you will have the chance to visit one of the six cantines with various wines, including Nero d’Avola, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, and Grecanico.
And if you are curious to learn the traditional ancient Sicilian recipes, there is a cooking class waiting for you.

The territory of Etna
Accommodation Description
This beautiful location will be your last stopover on Mount Etna, Italy’s third most important wine-producing area. The volcano has become a small “Barolo” compared to the ‘Cote D’or’ of Burgundy because of the wine cultivation at high altitudes (up to 1500 meters above sea level). It produces wines similar to the best Burgundy Pinot Noir. Today Etna is considered the “Burgundy of the Mediterranean.”
Cooking classes are also available, and we highly recommend saving some time for relaxation on this lovely boutique farm.
